PC 111: Physical Chemistry
Fall Quarter, 2009
University of California, San Francisco
School of Pharmacy, First Year
Overall course goals:
·
Students
will understand basic principles of equilibrium and kinetics, and how they relate
to the action of pharmaceuticals.
·
Students
will understand methods used to discover new drugs, and how these build upon
principles of thermodynamics and kinetics.
·
Students
will gain practice in quantitative problem solving.
Introductory lecture (class
mechanics, goals, etc.)
